QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills 6M4978

The aim of this programme is to enable learners to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence required to work independently or in a supervisory role across a range of health service settings.

The course also provides opportunities to progress to further or higher education and training.

QQI Level 5 Award or equivalent.

Consideration will also be given to mature applicants, aged over 23, who do not meet these requirements.

On completion of this programme, learners will have developed the knowledge, skills and competencies required to work independently or in a supervisory role across a range of health service settings.

Graduates may also progress to further or higher education and training.

A timetable will be provided at the beginning of the course. Classes will run over three and a half days per week.

Level 6 Healthcare students will have Mondays allocated for work experience.

Students will receive a college email address and access to Microsoft Teams, where all course resources will be available.

To achieve the overall QQI Level 6 Healthcare Supervisory Award, students must successfully complete all eight modules.
